Monterey Consultants is seeking dedicated Diagnostic Radiologic Technicians to join our network. As an integral part of our team, the Diagnostic Radiologic Technician performs technical work in support of diagnostic radiology, under the direction of a Supervisor of Radiology. The Diagnostic Radiologic Technician is responsible for the quality and quantity of radiographic exams performed in order to ensure a high level of acceptability of radiographs while minimizing patient dosage, practicing safety, and reducing costs.

Specific Skills
Must have American Registry of Radiologic Technology ARRT (R) certification in Advanced Radiology. At least 1 year of experience equivalent to the next lower grade level that demonstrates the clinical competencies of that level.  Able to pass a drug screen and background check.  United States Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy.

Educational Requirements
Junior-grades- Completion of one full academic year of graduate education leading to a degree in radiography or another directly related field to diagnostic radiology/imaging. Senior-grades- Completion of one full academic year of graduate education leading to a degree in radiology AND a 4-year baccalaureate degree in radiography or related radiology/imaging.
